Ghanaian duo of Jordan Ayew and Jeffrey Schlupp were all on the scoresheet for Crystal Palace in their emphatic 3-6 preseason victory over Crawley Town at that Broadfield Stadium earlier today.

Both players couldn't make the starting line up but it was another player with Ghanaian descent Jesurun Rak-Sakyi who took the first half by storm with a brace coupled with two other goals from Edouard Odsonne and Daichi Kamada to lead 4-0 at half time.

Crawley Town begun the second half on a good note having scored two goals in the space of eleven minutes, courtesy another brace from Rushian Hepburn-Murphy.

Subsequently, both Jordan and Schlupp were introduced on the 61st minute with the former scoring in just four minutes on the pitch before the latter also scored the last to restore their three-goal lead after Jack Roles had already gotten the third for the hosts.

Crystal Palace are still in serious preparations with the aim of getting themselves adequately ready for the 2024/25 football season as they look to grab at least an European spot this time by the close of the next campaign.

The Eagles will travel to the United States to continue with their preseason where they will play some couple of matches, starting with Premier League rivals Wolves on Thursday, August 1.
