Joseph Attamah Larweh's triumphant return sparked a sensational and precious 0-1 away victory for Kyserispor against Trabzonspor in the Turkish Super Lig.
After picking a knock in their previous game against Adana Demispor in a game he spent only 38 minutes on the pitch, Larweh became a major doubt for what was labeled a season-defining, despite starting and playing in their last thirteen consecutive matches, prior to the injury.
The combative defender shrugged off his ankle injury as he put up a stellar performance where he contributed immensely to his side's important 0-1 win over Trabzonspor over the weekend.
His defensive brilliance, precise distribution, and versatility in build-up play were instrumental as he racked up a rating of 7.1- making him the second best among his teammates.
The results takes Kayserispor into the European spot as they sit 4th on the Super Lig standings with 26 points after 14 games.
The teeming fans and technical team members of the Anatolian Stars all had a huge scare after Larweh's injury last week due to how instrumental he's always been to the club.
However, the team has had a significant boost with his return and will definitely be available for selection when they face Van Spor in the Turkish Cup on Wednesday, December 6, 2023.
