Ghanaian international defender, Joseph Attamah Larweh scored a late header to secure a point for Kayserispor who held Eyupspor to a pulsating 1-1 draw earlier today in round 24 of the Turkish Super Lig.

The former Tema Youth defender made the starting line up and as usual he was very strong and tough at the back having dodged no ball or spare any contact and also dived into every tackle just for the safety of his club.

After a goalless draw at half-time, the homeside opened the scoring account in the 56th minute courtesy Turkish international Emre Mor.

Just and when they thought they were winning, Attamah Larweh came all the way from the back to connect into the net with a towering header to level the score in the 92nd minute as it finished 1-1 in regulation time.

The versatile defender has always been an integral and influential figure for the Anatolian Stars and scoring against a team managed by his former teammate Arda Turan will definitely be an extra source of motivation for him heading into their subsequent games.

Kayserispor FC will welcome Göztepe to the Kadir Has Stadium in the next round of league matches in the Turkish topflight.
