Ghana winger Joseph Paintsil grabbed an assist in KRC Genk away win over Union St. Gilloise in the Belgian Jupilier Pro League on Saturday.
KRC Genk managed to record a 2-0 win at Union St. Gilloise in their match-week seven encounter at the Stade Joseph Marien.
Paintsil, who missed out Ghana's final game of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Central African Republic due to injury, was handed starting berth and lasted for 58 minutes.
He set up Andi Zeqiri to open the scoring for KRC Genk on the 17th minute before Matías Galarza's late header from a close range sealed their sweet victory at Union St.Gilloise
Paintsil is yet to score in this season's Belgian Jupilier Pro League and has already bagged three assists in six games for KRC Genk.
