Winger Joseph Paintsil has returned to KRC Genk's training as he remains in contention for a place in Wouter Vrancken's matchday squad.
The Ghanaian stepped up his recovery on Monday with the return to the field as he is in pole position to feature in Genk's Belgian Pro League game against OH Leuven.
Paintsil suffered a hamstring injury in their match against Royale Union Saint-Gilloise and has went ahead to miss the Smurfs three games.
The return and addition of a fully fit and raring Paintil to the second placed side would elevate them to another level on Saturday against OH Leuven.
The 24-year-old former Tema Youth flanker has scored four goals in eight games for Genk this season.
