Ghana winger Joseph Paintsil was on target in KRC Genk away win over KAS Eupen in the Belgian Jupilier Pro League on Sunday afternoon.
KRC Genk secured their seventh victory of the 2023/24 season with a 3-1 away win over KAS Eupen at the Kehrweg Stadion.
It was thrilling fixture for the two teams in the first half but a strike from Yira Sor on the stroke of halftime gave KRC Genk a 1-0 lead into the break.
Paintsil found the back of the net after a solo run to place the ball beyond the reach of the Gabriel Slonina in the 55th minute of the game.
In the 64th minute, the host reduced the deficit through Regan Charles-Cook but the two-goal lead was restored by Toluwalase Arokodare.
His compatriot Christopher Bonsu Baah was introduced into the fixture on the 80th minute and he assisted the third goal of KRC Genk.
Paintsil has notched up five goals and provided four assists in 21 appearances for KRC Genk across all competitions this season so far.
