Ghana and FC St Gallen 1879 goalkeeper, Lawrence Ati-Zigi has popped up on the wishlist of German Bundesliga side VfL Bochum ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window, according to reports.
The 27-year-old since joining the Espen in 2020, has been very impressive and didn't take long to command the post and become mainstay and a regular at the Kybunpark.
In the ongoing season, Ati-Zigi kept six clean sheets in 37 appearances in the Swiss topflight to help the Green and Whites finish fourth on the league log in the regular season.
However, VfL Bochum also had a very difficult campaign and had to flirt around the relegation zone for a while but managed to secure survival in the relegation playoffs.
In a quest to establish a redoubtable side for the upcoming season, manager Peter Zeidler has shifted his focus on the Ghanaian shot-stopper and are willing to secure his service for the 2024/25 football season.
Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Black Stars current first-choice goalie, is with the team in Bamako ahead of the game against the Eagles of Mali in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
