Ghanaian forward Kamaldeen Sulemana has been named Atalanta Bergamo Calcio’s Goal of the Month winner for September following his sensational strike against Juventus in Serie A.

The Black Stars winger netted a spectacular goal in the 1-1 draw against the Italian giants, earning him 73% of fan votes to claim the award ahead of teammates Gianluca Scamacca and Davide Zappacosta.

Since joining Atalanta during the summer transfer window, Sulemana has quickly become a fan favourite in Bergamo, impressing with his pace, creativity, and eye for goal. The 23-year-old has already scored two goals in Serie A this season, underlining his growing influence under coach Gian Piero Gasperini.

A product of Ghana’s Right to Dream Academy, Sulemana also played a crucial role in helping the Black Stars qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, scoring his debut international goal in the emphatic win over the Central African Republic.

Sulemana is set to rejoin his Atalanta teammates this week as Serie A resumes following the October international break. With his confidence soaring, the winger will be aiming to maintain his blistering form as he prepares for his first World Cup appearance next summer in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
