The Turkish outfit have reportedly secured the services of the former Hamburger SV flanksman in this ongoing summer transfer window
Süper Lig club Kayserispor have acquired the signature of Ghanaian winger Aaron Opoku on a three-year contract, a report from the German media has indicated.
The 26-year-old widesman, who was hotly pursued by Major League Soccer (MLS) side St. Louis City SC, is now linking up with the RHG Enertürk Enerji Stadium outfit on a free transfer deal after leaving German side FC Kaiserslautern at the end of the 2024-25 campaign.
Per Sky Germany, Opoku has already inked a three-year deal with the Kayseri-based club, with the official announcement expected to be made soon in the coming days.
Before parting ways with the Fritz-Walter-Stadion campaigners, he made over 60 appearances for FC Kaiserslautern during his three-year spells in the German football competitions.
The Hamburg-born winger is still eligible to play for Ghana on the international stage despite featuring for the Germany U-19 & U-20 national youth teams.
