It what looked like a semblance of luck as MFK Ružomberok left Anton Malatinský Stadium with a 2-2 draw against host Spartak Trnava in the Slovakian Super Liga as Ghanaian midfielder Kelvin Ofori surged upfront in the 53rd minute, grabbing an assist for his side's second goal.
The White Angels star midfielder Ofori had already attempted a momentous shot which the away fans feared the worst was to happen but Ofori's drive flew past the post.
It was an exciting match with the goals kicking off in the 41st minute as Czech Republic winger Erik Daniel broke the deadlock for the home team, with Samuel Šefčík cancelling the goal with his equalizer to make it 1-1.
Spartak Trnava followed up less than five minutes later utilizing fabulous interplay as Michal Ďuriš notched to put his side up 2-1.
However, the lead did not last long as Ružomberok’s Štefan Gerec pounced on a loose ball to fire home and give the match its final 2-2 scoreline in the 63rd minute mark.
