Belgian Jupilier Pro League side KRC Genk are on the verge of completing the capture of Ghanaian forward Jerry Afriyie from Saudi Arabian club Al-Qadsiah.
The 19-year-old attacker has reportedly emerged as a target for the Belgian outfit, with negotiations said to be progressing ahead of the new season.
Afriyie has been involved in pre-season training with Al-Qadsiah this summer as he awaits clarity over his future.
The young forward spent the 2025/26 campaign on loan at Belgian side RAAL La Louvière, where he gained valuable experience playing in the Belgian football system.
He made an impact during his loan spell, scoring five goals across all competitions.
A move to Genk would provide Afriyie with another opportunity to develop his career in Belgium and potentially take his game to a higher level.
