AFC Ajax will renew hostilities with German Bundesliga side Union Berlin at the Alte Foersterei in the second leg of the playoff round of the UEFA Europa League.
The Jews played in the group phase of the Champions League earlier this season but couldn't sail through, having missed out the qualification spots to SSC Napoli and Liverpool.
Ghana's Kudus Mohammed has been with the team all this while and netted four goals in the UCL and also enjoyed full time action in the first leg tie against the Iron Ones which ended goalless last week.
The 22 year old scored a spectacular free kick last Sunday to propel Ajax to a resounding 4-0 win over Sparta Rotterdam in the Eredivise with a stellar display and will hope to replicate the same performance tonight.
Manager John Heitinga in his pre-match presser, admitted Union Berlin will be tough once more but sated they've also picked some clues about them of which they will explore to beat them hopefully this evening.
"That match gave us a lot of information. We will now mainly have to look to ourselves if we want to win. They will not do much else. They have a stiff collective and are currently just title candidates in Germany."
The game is scheduled for 20:00GMT.
