English born Ghanaian forward, Daniel Adu-Adjei couldn't hide his joy after securing his first professional contract with English Premier League side, AFC Bournemouth.
Adu-Adjei signed a two-year deal until the summer of 2025 with the Cherries.
After Fulham released him, the 17-year-old joined Bournemouth after a trial spell in March 2021.
He scored an impressive twenty-five goals for Bournemouth's Under-18 side in the 2021/22 season.
He was recently included in Bournemouth's match day squad for their premier league games against Brentford and Nottingham Forest but couldn't get any minutes.
After signing, he said he was delighted to achieve something that he has worked his whole life for.
"I'm delighted to have signed my first professional contract, it's something I've worked my whole life for," he told the club's website.
"I would like to thank my family, God and everyone around the club for their support. I want to kick on now and hopefully progress and keep improving.
"I've had ups and downs during my scholarship. I was really pleased with my first year and things went well for me.
"I had an injury at the start of this season which held me back a bit but I came through it thanks to the support that I received from everybody.
"There is tremendous community here and they allow you to concentrate on your football rather than think about all other stuff."
