Ghana's sensation Kudus Mohammed has expressed ecstacy after signing for Premier League side West Ham United and has described his move as a dream one.
After completing his medicals last Saturday, the Hammers announced the capture of tbe Black Stars midfielder just an hour ago on a five year deal after a fruitful negotiations in a deal that was worth around €45m.
The 23-year-old midfielder enjoyed three seasons with Dutch giants AFC Ajax where he really made an impact, having scored 27 goals and provided 11 assists in 87 matches in all competitions.
Speaking with the club's official website, the mercurial playmaker said it's always been his dream to play in the Premier League and hopes to establish himself as one of the fans favourite at the London Olympic Stadium.
“I’ve been dreaming to play in a league like this since I was a kid. I’ve been dreaming of this moment and I’m so happy to be here. But it doesn’t stop here, I want to keep going."
“I try my best to entertain the fans as I think that’s what football is all about. I’m just here to do my best and help the team. I’m really happy to be here. I will fight for the badge. I can’t wait to get started.”
West Ham United have commenced the season on a very good note, having drawn one and won their last games against Chelsea and Brighton and Hove Albion.
Kudus Mohammed is most likely to debut against Luton Town in the fourth round of matches on Friday, September 1, 2023.
