Kudus Mohammed scored his first goal this year in the Premier League but wasn't enough as West Ham United suffered a painful 3-2 loss to Brighton and Hove Albion.

The 24-year-old made the Graham Potter's starting line up and was really outstanding through the game having secured a stunning 7.4 rating for his output on Sofascore.

Swedish international Yasin Ayari opened the scoring account in the 13th minute as the Seagulls held on till half-time

Just three minutes from recess, Kudus Mohammed what's his fourth goal in the league this season to level things up, before Tomas Soucek subsequently scored to hand the Hammers the lead for the first time in the game.

But, two late goals later from Kaoru Mitoma and Cameroon's Carlos Baleba completed the fightback and handed Brighton all three points in regulation time.

Kudus Mohammed hasn't really been able to match up to his own standard this season but has four goals and three assists so far in all competitions and will hope for more in their subsequent games.
