Laurent Blanc, manager of Lyon has stated that the French club will unveil their new-signing Ernest Nuamah by the close of this week.
The Ghanaian striker will be introduced to the 'Les Gones' crowd before Sunday’s Ligue 1 game with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
“He’s already in Lyon. I think [this] week he’ll officially be a Lyon player,” Blanc said when asked about the unveiling of the 19-year-old after their Ligue 1 game against OGC Nice on Sunday evening.
“He is a player that will bring what he’s capable of bringing. He is a player with a lot of power. He is a young player, a very young player, but he also brings us a bit of competition. Bringing competition to every position is a good thing for everyone. The more competition, the better things will be.”
Nuamah, who has attracted high-profile interest this summer arrival from FC Nordsjaelland has ended Lyon's summer hunt for a possible replacement of Bradley Barcola, 20, who has made clear his intentions to join fellow Ligue 1 rivals Paris Saint-Germain.
