Former Accra Lions midfielder, Rahim Ibrahim was in superb form over the weekend as his side AS Trenčín played out a 2-2 draw stalemate with FK Železiarne Podbrezová in the Slovakian top tier league.
The Ghanaian teenager's diplay earned his side the opener in the 38th minute as he swung in a stunning cross with his head at the Zelpo Aréna.
Podbrezová's Peter Kováčik and Nigerian midfielder Ridwan Sanusi scored in the 42nd and 47th minute to put the host into a dominant position, but Marek Bartoš netted an own goal to swing the momentum in Trenčín's favour as the match ended in a draw stalemate.
Ibrahim's compatroit Mark Osei Assinor came off the Železiarne Podbrezová bench in the 66th minute to substitute Sanusi.
Ibrahim, has now notched four goals in five matches for Trenčín in the 2023-24 Slovakian Niké liga.
