Ghanaian club Accra Lions have announced the transfer of one of their prized assets, Lawrence Norkplim Setordjie, to German Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt in the ongoing summer transfer window.
The 18-year-old attacking midfielder takes a big step in his career after strong performances with Accra Lions during last season’s Division One League campaign.Setordjie has been with the club for the past three seasons, helping them finish second in the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League campaign.
His blistering form saw him accumulate a total of 52 league appearances across the Ghana Premier League and the second tier Division One League.
The club announced the transfer of Setordjie on their social media platforms Wednesday: “Accra Lions can confirm the immediate transfer of Lawrence Norkplim Setordjie to German Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt.''

The attacking midfielder spent three seasons developing at our club, making a total of 52 league appearances across the Ghana Premier League and the Division One League for the Lions. During that time, he recorded 6 goals and 13 assists.
Lawrence Setordjie will begin his time in Europe with Frankfurt's U-21 team.
