The English top-tier campaigners have reportedly joined the queue for the signature of the 20-year-old midfield enforcer of Ghanaian descent ahead of the upcoming transfer window 

Premier League club Leeds United have joined the race to sign German-born Ghanaian defensive midfielder Kofi Amoako from 2. Bundesliga side Dynamo Dresden, a report from the German media has indicated.

The former VfL Wolfsburg enforcer, who joined the Dresden-based club during the summer of 2025, has so far established himself a remarkable reputation at the Rudolf-Harbig-Stadion, with such splendid efforts now attracting serious attention from many suitors across Europe, with Bundesliga clubs including; FC Köln, Union Berlin, Hamburger SV and Mainz 05 - all expressing concrete interest in his services ahead of the forthcoming summer window.

Per German tabloid BILDthe Elland Road Stadium campaigners have seriously joined the pursuit of the Ghana-prospect youngster in an effort to reinforce their midfield options with his capturing for the 2026-27 campaign.

With his impressive outings so far this term, potential suitors must be readying themselves to splash a fee of  €2 million on his head if they are to secure his signature next season as per his transfermarkt valuation.

Amoako, who has enjoyed a productive season so far, has taking in 31 appearances for Dynamo across all competitions in this current  2025-26 football season.

Given his Ghanaian heritage, the Hanover-born youngster remains fit to play for Ghana at the international level despite featuring for the Germany national youth teams.
