Newly-promoted English Premier League side Leicester City have submitted a bid of £4 million to Crystal Palace for the service of Black Stars forward Jordan Ayew ahead of the upcoming season.
The 32-year-old has been a key member of Crystal Palace team since joining the club in 2018 and netted four goals and provided eight assists in 37 appearances for Palace last season in all competitions.
Since joining the club, the versatile attacker has amassed a total of 23 goals and 22 assists in 211 appearances for the Eagles.
With a year left in his contract, Leicester City manager Steeve Cooper, who worked with Jordan at Swansea City, is seeking a reunion as he believes getting the service of the Ghanaian will be really malleable to his side heading into the new campaign.
The Foxes have reportedly submitted a bid of £4 million with Crystal Palace also yet to respond to them as to whether they will accept in the coming days or not.
Jordan Ayew is currently with his teammates for preseason and was on target against Crawley Town and was also with them in the USA last week to continue with their preparations towards the new campaign.
Crystal Palace will begin the 2024/25 Premier League season with a visit to Brentford on Sunday, August 18.
