The Ghanaian defender has sealed his loan switch to the Swiss top-tier side from his German mother club in this current transfer window
Swiss Super League side BSC Young Boys have announced the loan signing of Ghanaian centre-back Patric Pfeiffer from Bundesliga outfit FC Augsburg.
The 24-year-old, who linked up with the German top-flight side on a free transfer last term, is set to spend the 2024-25 football season on loan at the Stadion Wankdorf until the end of the campaign.
The ex-Hamburger SV guardsman appended his signature to the deal right after passing his mandatory medical examinations yesterday.
Announcing the deal, Swiss outfit said via their club's official website in an excerpt statement: "Reinforcement from the Bundesliga for BSC Young Boys: 24-year-old central defender Patric Pfeiffer comes from FC Augsburg and will play the current season on loan at YB. After that, he will return to Augsburg, where he has a contract until summer 2027."
Pfeiffer is yet to earn his international cap with Ghana at the international level after switching nationality allegiance to represent the West African powerhouse.
