The English top-flight side said they loaned out the talented teenage sensation of Ghanaian heritage to the lowly division club in order to be accustomed with first-team actions as a rising star
ltalian-born Ghanaian teen Kenneth Mensah was loaned out to National League North club Scarborough Athletic for working experience with their main team, according to his Premier League mother club Leeds United.

The 17-year-old budding star, who has been stirring for Leeds United U18 in the U18 Premier League, has been earmarked as a promising prospect at the Elland Road in the not-too-distant future, hence the decision to farmed him out to develop further in the sixth-tier contest for the remainder of the season.

A brief statement over his loan transfer switch reads: ''Leeds United can confirm Academy attacker Kenneth Mensah has joined Scarborough Athletic on a work experience loan until the end of the season.Everyone at Leeds United would like to wish Kenneth well during his time away from the club and we will be monitoring his progress closely.''

Before he was moved on, he took in 22 appearances by netting 5 times and setting up another 1 for Leeds United across all competitions in this current football season.

Given his Ghanaian parentage, he still remains a prospect for the Ghana national football teams for national team assignments on the international stage after playing for the ltaly U16 national youth team so far.
