Majeed Ashimeru returned to action for Anderlecht on Saturday after coming on as a late substitute against Royal Antwerp.
The Ghanaian midfielder's brief appearance was his first in 68b days, where he last featured for Ghana's senior national team - Black Stars during the AFCON 2023 in Ivory Coast.
Defender Killian Sardella scored the only goal of the game in the 52nd minute to secure the victory for Anderlecht as they sit top of the standing with 35 points, aiming to win the Belgian Pro League title this season.
Anderlecht will now have a bit of a relief with the return of their lynchpin as their next game is against Club Brugge KV in the Championship playoffs on April 7.
