Yiadom recently abrogated his contract with Libyan giants Al-Akhdar by mutual consent and had since become a free agent, with Selangor moving quickly to bring in the Ghanaian goal sniffer.
The Red Giants are currently manning the second spot of the Malaysia Super League table, and the arrival of Boakye-Yiadom is expected to bring in wild competition at the frontline of the team as they clobber to an expected domestic and Asia football success.
Yiadom joined his compatroit Alexander Agyarkwa and new teammates in the early hours of Thursday in training with the Red Giants.
The 30-year-old who made his Ghana debut in August 2012, has scored 7 times in 19 International appearances.
He started his career in Ghana with Bechem United before joining lower side DC United. In 2008, he then left Ghana to play Italy where he joined Genoa C.F.C's youth side in the Campionato Nazionale Primavera.
Yiadom went on to play in the Netherlands, Serbia, China, Poland, Israel and Greece, before joining Libya side Al-Akhdar.
