The Swedish elite division heavyweights have farmed out the 19-year-old promising defender to the third division club ahead of the start of the new campaign

Allsvanskan side Malmö FF have loaned out Ghanaian defender Israel Anum to Ettan Södra side BK Olympic for the upcoming 2026-27 football season.

The 19-year-old Right to Dream Academy product, who is currently with the U19 youth ranks, has been shipped out to the lowly division side in order to gain much experience with their mainstream squad for the upcoming campaign in the Swedish lower division contest.

An official confirmation over the loan deal of the Ghanaian teenage sensation reads via the club's official media channel: ''Malmö FF is loaning Joakim Persson, Sashwat Rana, Yassin Mohammed and Israel Anum to BK Olympic for the upcoming season.

''Israel Anum joined Malmö FF and our U19 team in the spring of 2025 and was up early and training with the A team. Last year he managed to make nine matches in the U19 Allsvenskan, seven of which were from the start. This year he started in Marbella and was at the A team's second training camp in Spain. Now a loan to BK Olympic awaits to gain experience from senior games.''
