Manchester United are wired to reignite their interest in PSV Eindhoven forward Cody Gakpo in the 2023 January transfer window, Kickgh.com can reveal.
The Red Devils already have a host of attacking options but coach Erik ten Hag believes it will be relatively good to yank the Dutch-born Ghanaian to Old Trafford as they prepare to get the deal done.
Gakpo was heavily linked with the Premier League superpower last summer, which almost reached a personal agreement but the deal fell through after PSV's reluctancy to cash-in on their most priced asset, in the knowledge that Ten Hag will probably come back for him in the near future with an improved deal.
The 23-year-old has had a strong start to the season, for both club and the Oranje, however, his current contract at the Eredivisie club runs out in summer, 2026.
