Liverpool FC legend, Michael Owen has urged his former club to consider Black Stars forward Antoine Semenyo as replacement for Mohammed Salah should the latter leave the club at the end of the season.
The Egyptian attacker is still catching headlines in the Premier League and is currently the top scorer with 15 goals but is still yet to receive a contract renewal offer from Liverpool as he will become a free agent next summer.
This has thrown so much doubt and uncertainty on Salah's future at Anfield with the majority stating his exit is getting very imminent.
Now according to the 2001 Ballon D'or winner, Ghana's Antoine Semenyo has been doing immaculately well with AFC Bournemouth which is why he sees him as the perfect successor for Mohammed Salah and will be very amazed if Liverpool does not consider him.
“I don’t think Mo Salah will leave this season, but in the event he leaves, I would be surprised if Liverpool don’t consider Semenyo as a replacement."
Semenyo, has been outstanding in the ongoing campaign including scoring against giants Manchester United over the weekend and has currently tallied five goals and provided one assist in 16 league appearances.
