Ghanaian defender, Mohammed Salisu was named man of the match in AS Monaco’s pulsating 2-2 draw against Pafos in match-day five of the UEFA Champions League.
The 26-year-old enjoyed full throttle in the game and was really in the thick of affairs for the Rocks but unfortunately scored an own goal which denied them all three points.
Japanese international Takumi Minamino opened the scoring account in the fifth minute for AS Monaco but experienced defender David Luis equalized for the host thirteen minutes later.
American international Folarin Balogun restored the lead for the visitors before the end of the first-half. With just two minutes to full-time, Mohammed Salisu scored into his own net to level the score.
He earned himself a stunning rating of 7.3 and was subsequently adjudged man of the match after the game.
He will hope for another starting berth this weekend when they host giants PSG this weekend at the Stade Louis II.
