Ghanaian international, Mohammed Salisu has been confirmed to miss AS Monaco's game against LOSC Lille tonight in match-day 8 of the 2024/25 French Ligue 1.
The 25-year-old sustained an injury in the Black Stars' 2-0 defeat to Sudan last Tuesday in Benghazi in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The stalwart defender lasted the entire duration in the first leg but sustained an injury in the return encounter and made way for Swiss-based defender Jonas Adjei Adjetey.
After being assessed by the doctors at Stade Louis II, it has been confirmed Salisu sustained a hamstring and won't be able to feature tonight against Lille, which definitely will be a huge blow for the Red and Whites.
Mohammed Salisu has made seven appearances so far this season in all competitions with a goal to his belt.
