Asante Kotoko midfielder Mudasiru Salifu has been impressive for his side Sheriff Tiraspol in Moldova since arriving in July before the start of the 2022/23 season.
The 25-year-old impressed the coaching staff during his trials with the club from Asante Kotoko and has since established himself in the club having seen many games to his belt, thus far.
The Asante Kotoko loanee have played 18 games for the Moldovan side in all competitions lasting 1,035 minutes which has been impactful to his development and exposure to the European football.
With the World Cup a month away, and with close to hundred percentage preparations done on every player by the technical team of the Black Stars headed by Otto Addo, Mudasiru could closely miss out of the World Cup due to his inexperienced with the team.
The technical team are au fait about players who would make the final squad as of now which Mudasiru could have made one with his par excellent performance with Sheriff Tiraspol.
However, the World Cup in Qatar would be a demanding one for Ghana of which the technical team would wholly lay trust to players who have had experience with the team already and can give away hundred percentage performance to churn out the needed results in the mundial.
The former AS Tanda Central Midfielder has produced enviable numbers and settled well within a short time with his new side; 782 minutes (11 matches) in the Moldovan League, 139 minutes (4 matches) in the Europa League, 90 minutes in the UCL Qualifiers, 24 minutes in the UEL Qualifiers.
Mudasiru Salifu will fall on unforeseen circumstances to push for a place in the final squad as competition will be keen and daunting for his position in the Black Stars as final lap of preparations to the World Cup will start soon in November.
