The Spanish-born of Ghanaian descent has opened up on his future at Athletic Bilbao.
Black Stars centre-forward Inaki Williams has said that he has no plans of leaving Atletico Bilbao anytime soon.
Williams was born and raised in the Spanish City and has since been playing for Atletico since taking up football.
The 28-year-old attacker started his youth football with lower tier side CD Pamplona as a teenager before being spotted by Atletico Bilbao.
Having spent most of his time with the youth side, the forward got his breakthrough into the first team eventually and has since been a key figure in the Bilbao set up.
“No no I think I am going to stay at Athletic Bilbao,” he told TV3
“Yes (I am staying) at Athletic Bilbao. I am living good but I don’t know where I will be in the next 5 years.
“More than 5 years in the La Liga without missing a single match, it’s very special for me staying in Bilbao. i don’t know.”
Williams, who was a top transfer target for English Premier League giants Manchester United in 2019, signed a long-term contract with Athletic Bilbao to keep him at San Mames until the summer of 2028.
