Sportsworldghana reports that Luton Town, a newly promoted club, is showing interest in acquiring the services of experienced Black Stars captain, Andre Ayew.

Luton sees Ayew as a player who can provide leadership both on and off the pitch due to his vast experience in the English top flight.

Currently, Ayew is on contract with Premier League side Nottingham Forest until the end of the season. During his time at Forest, Ayew made his 100th Premier League appearance when he came on as a late substitute in their 3-1 victory over Brighton on April 26th.

However, it is unlikely that Nottingham Forest will offer Ayew a new contract once his current stint with the club comes to an end.

Luton Town recently secured promotion to the Premier League after a thrilling 6-5 penalty shootout victory over Coventry City in the Championship playoff final at Wembley Stadium.

This will mark Luton's first appearance in the Premier League, and they will be competing alongside Burnley and Sheffield United in the upcoming season.

Luton's Kenilworth Road Stadium will once again host top-flight football, a status it has not enjoyed since 1992.
