The Slovenian elite division giants are reportedly eyeing the services of the defender of Ghanaian root with the winter transfer window in the Central European country yet to be closed down

Slovenian PrvaLiga side NK Celje are keeping tabs on Dutch-born Ghanaian right-back Solomon Bonnah in a bid to land him from Austrian Bundesliga outfit SK Austria Klagenfurt, a report has claimed in the Austrian press.

The 21-year-old former Ajax Youth man has caught the attention of the Stadion Z'dežele campaigners and are pushing to secure his signature before the winter transfer window in Slovenia is shut down on February 16.

According to Austrian Newspaper Kronen Zeitung, the current Slovenian top-flight champions were in the stands during Austria Klagenfurt goalless stalemate against RB Salzburg in the Bundesliga contest over the weekend.

With the current deal of the former RB Leipzig defender set to expire on June 30, 2025, those in charge of the Wörthersee Stadion could be compelled to do business with his current suitors as they would not want to lose him on a free transfer upon the expiration of his terms in the summer.

Bonnah has so far featured in 17 games across all competitions for SK Austria Klagenfur in this ongoing 2024-25 Austrian football season.

Given his Ghanaian root, he still remains fit to play for Ghana on the international stage despite playing for The Netherlands U15, U16, U17 and U19 national youth sides.
