The talented winger of Ghanaian origin completed his transfer switch to the Danish second division side from their league rivals on transfer deadline day
Danish 1st Division club Kolding IF have confirmed the signing of Danish-born Ghanaian winger Jeffrey Papayaw Adjei-Broni from Hvidovre IF on a three-year contract.
The 21-year-old former FC Copenhagen U19 youngster joins The blue-whites on a permanent basis after pursuing his services at the latter stage of the just ended summer transfer window.
A statement confirming his signing read: ''Kolding IF is proud to present yet another exciting addition to the offensive line. This time it is 21-year-old Jeffrey Papa, who joins the club on a permanent transfer from league rivals Hvidovre IF. The strong and fast striker, who can cover several positions in the front line, has already arrived in Kolding and has signed a three-year contract.''
Jeffery said to his club's official website: '' l have chosen to move to Kolding because I believe in the project very much and see potential in what the club is doing. I am sure it can help to further develop my personal skills - and I look forward to helping the team. Now I am just really looking forward to getting started!''
Sporting director Niklas Nürnberg added: ''Jeffrey is a player who in his first seasons in both the 3F Superliga and the Betinia league has shown that he possesses great talent and some interesting skills, however, we are also convinced that those skills can be put into play even better than they have been so far. We see Jeffrey's skills best utilized in the role of striker, where he can use his explosive speed and ability to run deep, the skills that made him a goal-scorer at youth level, and we look forward to developing him further in that role.''
Given his Ghanaian heritage, he still remains eligible to represent Ghana at the international level.
