The Danish top-tier side have snatched the teenage sensation from their fellow top-flight outfit and have quickly drafted him into their youth ranks to continue with his development
Danish Superliga side FC Midtjylland have signed Ghanaian teenager Akwasi Dwomfour Owusu from fellow elite division side FC Nordsjaelland, with the 17-year-old set to spent time with the U-17 youth team.
The Wolves have said "The fast and goal-threatening offensive player Akwasi Dwomfour Owusu is moving from FC Nordsjælland to FC Midtjylland, where he will be part of the club's U17 team" in order to continue with his development as an upcoming youngster.
Right after inking the deal with the MCH Arena outfit, the talented Ghanaian teenager had this to say: " FC Midtjylland is a big club that I think can help me develop. My ambition is to score even more goals and build on both offensively and defensively over the coming years,
"My strengths lie in the one-on-one game. I am fast, goal seeking and love to score goals and assists. Now my goal is to get plenty of playing time, and then I hope one day to make it to the first team."
FC Midtjylland talent nurturing gaffer Flemming Broe added to his club's communications network: "Akwasi is a fast player with good physical conditions. He has both scored many goals and made many assists in his youth, just as he is technically skilled and has a good mindset in relation to his own development,"
"He has already started on our U17 team, and here we have experienced a well-liked player who has fit in well with the team. We are very happy that Akwasi has chosen to sign with FCM."
Akwasi Dwomfour Owusu is yet to be capped by Ghana at any national team level.
