The 24-year-old frontman of Ghanaian descent completed his transfer move to the German fourth tier campaigners from the fifth tier outfit on transfer deadline

Regionalliga Nord club FC Eintracht Norderstedt 03 have announced the signing of German-born Ghanaian centre-forward Victor Appiah from Bremen's Oberliga side FC Oberneuland on a short-term contract until the end of the season.

The forward, who has taken the German fifth division contest by storm so far this season, will be hopeful to emulate his impressive form with the Edmund-Plambeck-Stadion outfit in the fourth division campaign for the rest of the 2025-26 football season.

An official confirmation over the capturing of the Ghana-prospect attacker by the Norderstedt-based club reads: ''The ink is dry, the final transfer of the winter window is complete: We are delighted to welcome new signing Victor Appiah . The 24-year-old striker joins us from Bremen's Oberliga side FC Oberneuland.

Appiah said to his club's official media channel: ''The talks with the management were very positive and made my decision to make the move easy. The professional structures and the organized environment particularly impressed me. I want to score a lot of goals and contribute to staying in the league ,” he clearly outlined his objectives.''

Sporting director Frank Spitzer added: ''Victor brings many qualities to the table: he has good runs in behind, good speed, and is a real goal threat. He has consistently improved at the senior level, boasting a really good scoring record for Oberneuland this year, and is ready for the jump to the Regionalliga.

''Victor also had offers from other clubs,” reports our sporting director, adding that he is “glad that he has now committed to us and will be on the field for us in the second half of the season. With him, we are as well-staffed as possible in attack and will have no weaknesses there should we be affected by injuries or suspensions.''

Before sealing his transfer switch to his new employers this January, ex-Bremer SV man took in 28 appearances by netting 30 goals for FC Oberneuland in the Bremen's Oberliga contests across one-and-a-half-year spell.

Given his Ghanaian heritage, the promising goal monger remains fit to switch nationality allegiance by representing Ghana on the international stage.
