The German fourth tier campaigners have landed the loan services of the teenage sensation of Ghanaian origin from the third tier outfit on transfer deadline day

German-born Ghanaian youth star Julian Etse has joined Regionalliga Südwest side TSV Steinbach Haiger from 3. Liga club  SSV Ulm 1846 on a loan deal until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old budding star, who linked up with the relegated 2. Bundesliga side on a three-year contract during the summer of 2025, has so far found game time hard to come by at his current side this term and has now been moved on to his suitors in the lowly division contest for the remainder of the 2025-26 football season.

An official confirmation over the loan capturing of the former VfL Bochum starlet reads: ''The regional league football club from the northern Lahn-Dill district has loaned Julian Etse from SSV Ulm 1846 FC.''

The Ghana-prospect budding defender had this to say right after sealing his loan move to his new side by telling the club's official website: " I am very happy to be joining TSV Steinbach Haiger from now on. The talks with the club were very convincing, and I can hardly wait to give it my all on the pitch and fight for points with the team.''

Club's manager Hüsni Tahiri added: ''Julian is a tall defender who can play in both a back three and a back four. He has both good height and a great mentality. He’s hungry, which is crucial for me. Julian Etse received excellent training at VfL Bochum and has now been loaned to us from Ulm until the summer. He will definitely be an asset to us, so I’m delighted that the transfer went through.''

Given his Ghanaian heritage, the promising talented teenager remains fit to represent the Ghana senior national team on the international stage.
