The 25-year-old attacking winger of Ghanaian heritage has completed his free transfer move to the German third division side until the next two football seasons
Bundesliga 3 side SSV Jahn Regensburg have announced the signing of German-born Ghanaian attacking winger Agyemang Diawusie on a two-year contract, with the deal set to run out on June 30, 2025.
The agile flanksman is joining the relegated 2. Bundesliga outfit on a free transfer following the expiration of his deal with Fourth division side SpVgg Bayreuth last term.
Announcing the capturing of the 25-year-old, the Jahnstadion Regensburg outfit have said the former RB Leipzig U19 youth star elevated himself "during training over the past few days and has now recommended himself to SSV Jahn for more" ahead of the 2023/24 football campaign.
"The former Jahnschmiede player Agyemang Diawusie has already been active as a guest player in training over the past few days and has now recommended himself to SSV Jahn for more. The 25-year-old attacking winger, who last played for SpVgg Bayreuth in the 3rd division, has been given a contract until 2025."
Diawusie had this to add to his club's communications network right after appending his signature to the deal: "I'm very happy to return. The talks with Achim Beierlorzer and Joe Enochs were very positive right from the start. The guys from the team gave me a warm welcome straight away and I'm motivated to help the team with my qualities."
The Berlin-born winger is still eligible to play for Ghana at the international stage despite featuring for the German U15 & U19 national youth teams
