The Ghana-prospect widesman has said to his club's official website: ''The move to Heidenheim is the next important step in my career. I know the club very well through my brother, of course – being able to play alongside him in the Bundesliga will be something very special. FCH stands for passion, hard work, and great team spirit – these are values I fully identify with and that also fit my journey so far. I can't wait to be on the pitch in the FCH jersey and give everything to help us stay in the league!”
Club CEO Holger Sanwald added: ''With the signing of Christian Conteh, we've added a player to our squad who can be deployed offensively on both wings as well as in the center. His exceptional speed and dribbling skills perfectly match our requirements. Christian had a strong first half of the season with Eintracht Braunschweig. We're delighted that the transfer went through so quickly and that we now have another attacking option in our ranks, one that could prove very important in the Bundesliga!”
Conteh is now reuniting with his sibling Sirlord Conteh who has been with FC Heidenheim for the past one-and-a-half year at the Voith Arena.
Prior to his transfer switch, he played in 18 games by scoring 5 times and setting up 3 across all competitions for Eintracht Braunschweig in this 2025/26 campaign.
Given his Ghanaian heritage, the Hamburg-born forward remains fit to switch international allegiance and represent Ghana on the international stage.
