The talented Ghanaian winger has completed his loan move to the Croatian second-tier side until the end of the ongoing league campaign
Croatian Prva Nogometna Liga side NK Rudeš have announced the loan signing of Ghanaian winger Brian Safo Oddei from ltalian Serie A side US Sassuolo.
The 20-year-old, who was also on the radar of Croatian top-tier sides HNK Rijeka and HNK Hajduk, will now spend the remainder of the season in the Croatian lower division football contest with the SC Rudes outfit.
Sporting director Stipe Čondrić had this to tell his club's communications network right after capturing the Ghanaian youngster: "We are extremely proud of this job, because with the arrival of players from Serie A we proved that we are 'Totally different from others'. You know, it is no small matter to bring in a player of such renown, who has matured in such a football environment over the years. And by bringing him in, I believe we are showing all the seriousness and desire for even greater affirmation of the club, and in order to be as ready as possible to meet the outcome of the championship and confirm entry into the strongest class of Croatian football. He would also like to thank everyone who participated in this transfer."
It's understood that, manager Alessio Dionisi holds their youth graduate in high esteem given his promising talent and would want to farm him to appropriate admirers in order to aid his development as an upcoming youngster.
His current deal with the Mapei Stadium – Città del Tricolore outfit is due to expire on Jun 30, 2024 and per his transmarkt valuation, interested clubs are to splash €800,000 on his head if they need to acquire him permanently.
Brian is still qualified to play for Ghana at the international level.
