The 1.83m tall stopper has completed his switch to the Swiss lower-tier side in the ongoing winter transfer window following his successful trials for the past weeks
Swiss Challenge League side Neuchâtel Xamax FCS have announced the signing of Ghanaian centre-back Frank Owusu Amoabeng from ltalian Serie C side Novara FC.
The 21-year-old defender excelled during his trial sessions and has now been handed a deal by the Stade de la Maladière stadium outfit for the rest of the ongoing campaign.
The Xamas have said the Ghanaian exhibited "great physical and technical qualities" during his assessment, hence the decision to tie him down to a fresh deal.
Right after inking the deal, the Ghana U-23 star had this to say to the club's official website: " l felt good. I took several tests and it went well. Obviously, everything is new for me, I discover a new type of football so I still have to adapt. It will get better and better. I'm here to play, give my best and help the team. I am convinced that the team will do better this spring. I am also looking forward and above all to discovering our audience as soon as the recovery."
He is yet to be capped by Ghana at the men's senior national team, the Back Stars after playing for the U-23 national side.
