The 24-year-old Ghanaian lateral defender has completed his move to the German fourth division side until the end of the next two football seasons 

German Regionalliga side FC Gütersloh have announced the signing of Ghanaian Left-back Philimon Tawiah on a two-year deal in this ongoing summer transfer window.

The talented former Tudu Mighty Jet full-back is joining the Heidewaldstadion outfit on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with Lexumbourg top-flight campaigners FC Victoria Rosport last term.

Announcing the deal with the former SC Paderborn ll man, the Gütersloh-based club have said: "FC Gütersloh found what they were looking for when planning their squad in Luxembourg. Defender Philimon Tawiah from Luxembourg first division club FC Victoria Rosport has signed a two-year contract with FCG."

Club's manager Julian Hesse has touted the qualities o the 24-year-old guardsman having labeled him as a "strong player" ahead of his debut season with his side.

"He is definitely a physically very strong player and made a good impression on the ball. Philimon definitely enriches our defensive options."

The Cheetah FC product is yet to earn his international cap with Ghana at the senior national team level, the Black Stars
