The  25-year-old midfield enforcer has sealed his transfer move on a loan basis to the newly-promoted Italian third division side in this ongoing summer transfer window

Italian Serie C side SS Arezzo has completed the loan signing of Ghanaian midfielder Shaka Mawuli from Serie B side FC Sudtirol until the end of the 2023/24 football season.

The former SPAL midfield enforcer's contractual terms with the Stadio Città di Arezzo campaigners has no clause for making the loan deal permanent at the end of its expiration.

A statement from the Arezzo-based club confirming the capturing of the Ghanaian enforcer reads: "Società Sportiva Arezzo is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement with the footballer Shaka Eklu Mawuli who is moving to amaranth from Südtirol on a temporary basis. Born in 1998, originally from Ghana, Mawuli boasts over 100 appearances in Lega Pro with the shirts of Catanzaro, Fano, Ravenna, Sambenedettese, Lucchese and Südtitol with which he obtained promotion to Serie B where he made his debut during the last season."

The Sunyani-born midfielder is yet to earn his international cap for Ghana at the senior national team level, the Black Stars.
