Ghanaian winger Ibrahim Osman has joined Dutch giants Feyenoord on loan from English Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion for the 2024/25 season.

The 19-year-old, who signed with Brighton during the summer transfer window from FC Nordsjaelland, will spend the upcoming season in the Dutch Eredivisie. Osman sees this move as a crucial step in his development, with hopes of returning to England as a more refined player.

"At Feyenoord, young players get the chance to develop," Osman stated. "Playing here will help me improve aspects of my game, and I want to use my qualities to help the team achieve great things in the Eredivisie and in Europe."

Osman follows in the footsteps of players like Kaoru Mitoma and Simon Adingra, who also started their Brighton careers with loan spells to gain regular playing time. His experience with Feyenoord is expected to provide him with the opportunity to grow and contribute significantly to the Dutch club’s ambitions.

The Right to Dream Academy graduate was part of Brighton's pre-season preparations, including their tour of Japan, before securing his loan move to Feyenoord.
