The 29-year-old defender has sealed his move to the newly-promoted Italian third-tier campaigners in this current summer transfer window

Serie C side Casarano Calcio have announced the signing of Ghanaian right-back Bright Gyamfi on a one-year contract. 

The former lnter Milan full-back is joining the Casarano-based club on a free transfer after leaving fellow Serie C outfit ACR Messina this summer for the 2025-26 football season.

An official confirmation over the former Benevento guardsman signing read via the club's official media: ''Casarano Calcio announces the acquisition of defender Bright Gyamfi, born in 1996.

''Of Ghanaian origins, Gyamfi grew up in the Inter youth academy, with whom he won the 2015 Viareggio Tournament. In 2016, he was loaned to Benevento and, after securing their first ever promotion to Serie A, was acquired by the Sannio team outright, making his Serie A debut.

'' He then moved to Reggiana, before returning to Benevento in 2022. In the summer of the same year, he moved to Potenza and then Cosenza in Serie B. Last season, he wore the Messina jersey. Overall, Gyamfi has played 9 games in Serie A, 76 in Serie B, and 57 in Serie C.''

Gyamfi is yet to earn his international cap with the Ghana Senior National Team, the Black Stars.
