The former Hamburg SV youth man, who joins the Bucharest-based club during the summer of 2023, will now continue to ply his trade with his current employers beyond the 2026 football season given his impressive outings so far this term.

Since I came here, I have received a lot of love, and all I can promise is that as long as I am here I will give 100% for the fans. I have been in Romania for 4 years, I feel at home, and Rapid has become a part of me.''

Braun has so far netted 2 in 11 league game appearances for FC Rapid in this current SuperLiga 2024/25 football season.

Born and raised to Ghanaian parents in Germany, the veteran guardsman is yet to figure for either Germany or Ghana at the international level.
