The talented offensive midfielder was full of emotion after snatching the equalizer for his side during their last league outing in the German second-tier contest on Friday

German-born Ghanaian midfielder Daniel Kyerewaa has said ''there was no room for joy in my head'' right after scoring his debut goal in the German 2. Bundesliga football campaign.

The 23-year-old, who was once again at his usual best for his side, helped SC Preußen Münster defeat Hertha Berlin 2-1 in their away fixture after scoring the equalizer on the 57th minute to cancel that of Hertha's Derry Scherhant opener via a spot kick on the 28th minute. However, his team-mate Torge Paetow snatched the winner on the 87th minute to hand their side the much needed victory at the end of the contest.

And now, following the nerve-racking encounter after netting his debut goal of the season, the former Fortuna Düsseldorf youth product has now spoken about his strike given his quick reaction to get the ball out of the net for the continuation of the game  in search of the match winner on the day, telling German tabloid Bild: ''When the ball was actually in the net, there was no room for joy in my head. I just ran after it, got it out of the net straight away and sprinted back to the center circle with it under my arm. Because I just wanted the game to go on. I felt that we could pull this thing off."

Kyerewaa has so far featured in 9 league games by scoring once for Preußen Münster in this ongoing German 2.Bundesliga campaign.

Given his Ghanaian heritage, he still remains eligible to switch nationality allegiance and represent Ghana on the international level as he's yet to be cap-tied by the Germany national team.
