The 20-year-old defender of Ghanaian descent has completed his move to the German third tier outfit ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window
German 3.Liga side SG Dynamo Dresden have signed German-born Ghanaian centre-back Dennis Duah, the club have confirmed.
The former FC St. Pauli youth defender is joining the Dresden-based club on a free transfer from Hamburger SV II in the Regionalliga Nord (Fourth Tier) contest.
Announcing the deal, the Rudolf-Harbig-Stadion campaigners have said the contract with the Ghanaian youngster runs through to 2024-25 football league season.
"SG Dynamo Dresden signed Dennis Duah for the 2024/2025 season on Friday, April 12th. The 1.90 meter tall central defender is moving from Hamburger SV to Elbflorenz. Duah is currently active for the Hanseatic League second team."
Club's scribe David Fischer added this to his communications network right after capturing the ex-Hamburger SV U19 youth star: " Dennis impresses with his athletic and robust style of play. With his speed and physical tackling, he can give our defense further stability. In addition, at 20 years old, he already has a high level of playing experience and knows how to take on responsibility as a leader. “In addition, it has significant development potential, which we would like to further promote in the coming years,”
Before severing ties with Hamburger SV Il this term, Duah made 25 appearances in the Regionalliga Nord campaign.
Born and bred to Ghanaian parents in Hagenow, the versatile defender remains eligible to switch allegiance and play for Ghana at the international level.
