Ghanaian defender Semeu Commey has joined Liga Portugal 2 side Leixões SC from Primeira Liga club Estrela da Amadora, the club have confirmed.
The former Boavista FC U19 star has endured a torrid time with the Tricolores having witnessed no game time so far this season. However, with no playing minutes under his belt this term, the centre-back has now been moved on to the lowly division club by the Estádio José Gomes outfit.
ln confirming the signing of the Ghanaian guardsman, the struggling second tier side took to their micro-blogging platforms to announce the deal as read via X (formerly Twitter) : ''Semeu, central ganês de 21 anos, reforça o eixo defensiv 𝐵𝑒𝑚-𝑣𝑖𝑛𝑑𝑜, 𝑆𝘦𝑚𝘦𝑢!''
Commey is yet to earn his cap with the Ghana senior men's national team on the international stage.
