Ghanaian attacker Bernard Morrison has been officially unveiled as the newest addition to Moroccan champions AS FAR Rabat, marking his reunion with coach Nasreddine Nabi.

Nabi, currently in charge of AS FAR after his tenure with Tanzanian giants Young Africans SC, played a pivotal role in recommending the signing of Morrison for the upcoming season.

The 30-year-old Ghanaian has secured a one-year contract with the Moroccan champions, making the move on a free transfer following his departure from Young Africans at the conclusion of the 2022-23 campaign.

Morrison contributed significantly during his time with Young Africans, making six appearances and scoring one goal in their CAF Confederation Cup journey, which saw them reach the finals but ultimately lose to Algerian side USM Alger.

Additionally, Morrison played a crucial role in assisting Young Africans in defending their Tanzanian Premier League title.

Notably, the former Heart of Lions and AshantiGold SC player had come close to joining Tanzanian side Singida Fountain Gate, but the deal fell through during negotiations.

Morrison's career has seen him play for South African giants Orlando Pirates, Congolese side AS Vita Club, and Simba SC, the fierce rivals of Young Africans.
